Ms. Corfidi can locate and interpret past weather reports, including radar data, and provide opinions on the incidence of hail, wind or tornado events at a particular site given the environmental and storm report data.
Forensic Meteorology and Consulting
Sarah and Stephen Corfidi founded Corfidi Consulting in 2023, as a way to help those who need forensic meteorology data. Ms. Corfidi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She currently works part-time as a consulting meteorologist, researching past weather events. Ms. Corfidi can locate and interpret past weather reports and correlate them with radar data. She can provide verbal consults on the incidence of hail, wind or tornado events at a particular site given the environmental and storm report data. She can also provide concise written reports. If needed, Ms. Corfidi can give expert testimony for a deposition or trial.

Mr. Corfidi holds a Master of Science degree in Meteorology from the Pennsylvania State University. He is an adjunct professor for Penn State and currently teaches a Mesoscale Meteorology class for the Penn State World Campus. Mr. Corfidi also works for the University of Oklahoma as a CIWRO research instructor.
